Reykjavik, Iceland. The Land of Fire and Ice

Location

With a population of approximately 320,000 people, Iceland is an Island that sits at the juncture of the North Atlantic Ocean and Arctic Ocean.
Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital accounts for approximately 200,000 of the country’s population and is the northernmost capital of a “sovereign state” in the world. Yet, Iceland is only 4.5 hours from the East Coast of the US on a direct flight.  It can be combined with a stopover to Europe as well!
There are hotels of all sizes but our favorites in Reykjavik are: Hotel Borg and The Marina.  Apartments are available for rental.
