Savannah Georgia is great for a retreat.  It has incredible historic buildings, cemeteries and 20+squares to explore.  You can visit SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design), attend a live music, theater or dance performance, eat incredible southern cuisine and the nightlife is great. Savannah has an open container policy so you can start with a drink at one bar and keep moving down the street with drink in hand.  The climate is great and there are beaches on Tybee Island, fishing charters, golf and midnight cemetery tours!
